The William R. Kenan, Jr. Funds were created with grants from the

William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust. Beginning in 1983, four funds

were initiated, each a 501(c)(3) private foundation. Currently, each

Fund primarily supports an institution at a North Carolina university.

Unsolicited grant applications are not accepted.
